Imad received his Degree in Architecture from the “Institut des Beaux Arts” Lebanese University Beirut in 2003.
After his studies, Imad started working for YM office in restoration and rehabilitation works on historical sites and buildings. In 2004, Imad joined +Cassia as an architect and project coordinator. He worked on concept presentations, proposals and redenrigns, prepared the development and construction drawings of several mixe-use projects – hotels, residential, commercial and industrial projects in Lebanon, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt and the KSA. Imad was exposed to a wide variety of typologies which involved extensive in-house cross-disciplinary coordination and exposure to all project stakeholders.
Notable project include The Galleries Downtown Jebel Ali, a 225,000me mixed-use project for Limitless designed in association with Pei Partnership, The Galleries Plaza, Burj Park 2 in association with Michael Graves, The Citystars Kettameyah Cairo, a 553,000m2 mixed-use commercial and leisure development in New Cairo and the Bateen Wharf 2.0 in association with Kohn Pederson Fox for Belbadi Enterprises.
In 2014, Imad then joined DNA (Design Novel Architecture) and was delegated to be the consultant representative architect on a site for a 150m000m2 Mall in Beirut called the SPOT Choueifat. He was in charge of all type of site coordination and follow-up, attending work progress meetings, maintaining onsite quality control shop drawings and submittals approvals, site supervision and inspections with all related duties.
Imad also has a rich portfolio of diverse residential and interior design projects in Lebanon and the South of France.
