Chairman & CEO, Luxury Business Group
Daniel Mayran is a senior figure in the global luxury industry, with over two decades of experience spanning luxury retail, hospitality, and strategic consulting across Europe and Asia. He is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Luxury Business Group (LBG), a Seoul-based international firm specializing in luxury consulting, talent development, and customer experience strategy.
Under his leadership, LBG has positioned itself as a key bridge between European luxury brands and Asian markets, delivering integrated services across business development, executive search, and training. The firm supports leading luxury groups in elevating brand positioning, operational standards, and customer experience—particularly in high-growth Asian markets.
Mayran’s career is rooted in operational leadership within the luxury and hospitality sectors. Prior to founding LBG, he held senior roles including Vice President positions at Air France and Le Méridien Hotels, and served as Chairman of Bluebell Korea, one of Asia’s most established luxury distribution platforms.
Recognized for his contribution to the cultural and business interface between Europe and Asia, Mayran has played an active role in shaping luxury industry standards in Korea. He has served as Vice President of the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture for his contribution to culture and the arts.
Mayran consistently advocates for a definition of luxury rooted not only in product, but in experience, storytelling, and cultural depth, positioning luxury as a holistic ecosystem where service, design, and emotional engagement converge.
Collaboration with XCASSIA – Asia Strategy
In parallel, Daniel Mayran is working closely with Jean-Paul Cassia and XCASSIA on the structuring of an IP-led development platform for the Korean market. The collaboration focuses on positioning Korea not through standalone real estate projects, but through an integrated model combining hospitality, content production, and advanced technology ecosystems, with particular relevance to Samsung Electronics’ ambitions in display and content distribution.
This joint approach leverages LBG’s deep institutional access and cultural understanding in Korea, alongside XCASSIA’s IP-driven development frameworks (DOMINO, KG Hotel), to introduce a new category of immersive, content-enabled destinations. The strategy is deliberately phased—prioritizing controlled engagement, alignment with key stakeholders and positioning at a vision level before advancing into project-specific execution.
