Based in Marbella, Shirley brings nearly two decades of international luxury-marketing experience to the table, seamlessly blending creativity with analytical rigour.
Her career began with a landmark project: opening the Dior store in Puerto Banús, after which she joined the Zannier Group — supporting their franchise expansion in Tokyo and New York, and conducting trend-forecasting in the Japanese capital. She then elevated her international experience by serving as Creative Director at Harrods London, where she fine-tuned her commanding grasp of luxury branding and global retail dynamics.
In her role with xCassia Global Limited, Shirley draws on this rich background to deliver editorial leadership, marketing and communications guidance, local-market insights, and trend-to-concept innovation. While her core focus encompasses the Mediterranean Sea primarily, her expertise spans premier seaside-resort destinations worldwide — from Thailand and Bali to Florida — enabling immersive destination-branding and immersive lifestyle-property development.
Shirley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St John’s University (Manhattan) and has generously shared her expertise with MBA students and professionals as a guest lecturer and contributor to professional journals in France and Switzerland. Multilingual in French, English and Spanish, she is currently engaged in studies in real-estate and construction-investment law — further strengthening her strategic value in high-end property development.
Before pivoting fully into business, Shirley trained as a professional child ballerina and later studied at the New York Film Academy. These creative roots fuse with her commercial acumen to deliver a refined and holistic vision for brand development, storytelling and the staging of exceptional lifestyle destinations and properties.
