Alain Quillet

Alain Quillet has been acting in top management positions for the last 30 years in four French luxury and fashion companies in Haute Couture, Ready-to-wear and accessories.

1984 graduate from EDC Business School, he completed with a DECS, a French accounting degree, prior to join industrial Thomson Group as controller and then act as Financial Director of two subsidiaries of the group.

He joined Christian Dior in 1990, and during 17 years moved from Finance positions to International Retail Development and Retail Operations Director.

Then, he held positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer in Nina Ricci Mode, Sonia Rykiel and Paule Ka for special and off beat 12 years period experiencing drastic collections turnaround, business growth and key collaborations with artistic directors.

Alain has been appointed in 2019 President of Comité Montaigne, federating and representing the 80 luxury brands installed on Avenue Montaigne and rue François 1er in Paris.

Teacher and mentor at Sup de Luxe (chair created 30 years ago by Cartier), now he transmits his experience to MBA–MSc in Fashion and Luxury students embodying the coming generation of luxury brands managers.

He also advises and supports projects for development, M&A, restructuring with fashion and luxury brands’ top management, individual investors, funds, private equity companies and distributors, as well as groups such as XCASSIA which facilitates brand placements in the real estate design industries.
