The Bateen Wharf & Electrodom Abu Dhabi is conceived as one-of-a-kind integrated residential, entertainment, workplace, hospitality, food & beverage as well as vertical farming destination in UAE’s capital. Leveraging the site’s unique natural advantages, location and exploitation entitlements. The project enjoys an exceptional waterfront location and address on mainland Abu Dhabi. The programming strategy is designed to target a cross-generational segment of the population with a concentration on young urban professionals that value integrated destinations which provide a unique and smart mix of retail, co-working, f&b as well as entertainment avenues that fosters a sustainable and stylish lifestyle.
The Bateen Wharf & Electrodom is composed of 634 apartment units located in three blocks, two of which offer branded lifestyle interiors while the 3rd is positioned as an upscale optionally branded property. An 80 key lifestyle boutique hotel and 127 hotel apartments occupy the easternmost part of the plot. Next to this is a green wall structure that houses a unique vertical farm that is an extension of the main basement installations for this food sustainable program strategy.The entire residential and hospitality program is organized around an central eventscape, a landscaped park designed with media and show-control technology and media program. This space is bordered by a co-working strip on the north and west over which a 57 m long highline walkway connects the podiums of the buildings together, for leisure but also for vip viewing when events are staged in the eventscape area.
Unique Amenities and features are programmed throughout the site with banqueting halls, party rooms, dedicates health clubs, kids & gaming rooms, as well as a unique destination f&b structure named “the vessel” for its nautical references and curated mix of f&b outlets, including a home-grown brand showcasing a top chef’s menu with produce grown at the Bateen Wharf. Infinity pools at the rooftops and some that cantilever out with acryl partitions are some of the elements to look out for in the design development process. A curated mix of suitable branded interiors and exclusive media activation through the Electrodom is also proposed which aims to position the project on the international stage as a go-to destination.
