Symbolizing the extraordinary history of Zanzibar and Africa's rising prominence, the visionary Zanzibar Domino Destination Development embodies H.E. President Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi's strategic vision to leverage the power of "brand Zanzibar." By implementing a cohesive set of policies, the project aims to bolster tourism, attract infrastructure investments, stimulate foreign direct investments (FDIs), and foster Public-Private Partnership schemes in the country.

Functioning as a seamless extension of the city, this semi-urban development seeks to reflect and enrich Zanzibar's culturally vibrant urban fabric. Once built, this iconic semi-urban resort development will be Africa's tallest building, featuring over 100 floors with the first integrated resort destination on a man-made island on the continent.

Along with its unique observation deck at the peak of the tower, it will house two luxurious international branded hotels with over 560 rooms and suites, some of which with stunning corner terraces and individual plunge pools facings Stone Town. The ambitious project includes a 1.4km bridge connecting the island to the mainland plaza (itself a unique feature along the coast), 560 branded apartments, 235 overwater branded villas, a conferencing facility, cultural pavilion, feature aquarium, retail and restaurant complex, yacht club, helipads and a branded entertainment destination called "Electrodom." The project will also encompass two marinas and a multi-faith wedding pavilion, East Africa's first underwater sculpture museum, among other remarkable attractions with engaging programs and experiences.

The project development will uphold industry-leading practices and adheres to environmental and sustainability standards aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
