The MUGLER Residence is conceived as an inhabitable couture piece, where architecture, fashion, and fantasy converge in a singular expression of elevated living. Developed through a close collaboration between Manfred Thierry Mugler and Jean-Paul Cassia, the 17,190 sq ft signature mansion marked an early exploration of how a globally recognised creative identity could extend into the world of private real estate.

Mugler’s extraordinary multidisciplinary vision as designer, director, photographer, and perfumer informed every aspect of the project. The residence translates the codes of his work into space through five guiding principles: proportion, flow, lightness, glamour, and sustainability. These ideas are expressed not as decoration, but through composition, movement, atmosphere, and the orchestration of sensory experience.

The home comprises six en-suite bedrooms, soaring reception volumes, a sculptural dining space, private office, screening room, terraces, pools, and more than 10,850 sq ft of landscaped external grounds. Interiors are shaped by sweeping curves, dramatic contrasts, reflective surfaces, and carefully controlled light, creating spaces that feel cinematic yet intimate.

Expansive glazing draws natural light deep into the residence, while principal suites are conceived as serene theatrical sanctuaries, balancing softness with spectacle. Every element, from finishes to lighting and artwork, was considered as part of a complete immersive environment.

Adaptable to beachfront or estate settings, the concept could exist as a standalone icon or as part of a curated collection of private residences with bespoke lifestyle services.

More than a house, the MUGLER Residence was envisioned as a total work of art: timeless, sensorial, and unapologetically bold.
